Shipping and Receiving Leader

Primary Responsibilities:

• Receive all parts that are shipped in, making sure they are received in good condition and packing slips match the part and quantity received.


• Sort and pack orders to ship to internal & external customers in the most efficient manner


• Maintain shipping logs.


• Stock all parts in the warehouse after they have been checked in. Maintain inventory counts.


• Ability to operate a forklift when necessary.


• Cross-check inventory accuracy with system entries


• Prepare and print shipping labels corresponding to shipping needs.


• Contact carrier and schedule shipping for each package.


• Maintain a clean and safe work area and update supplies as needed.



• Other duties assigned as needed.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience with Inventory


• Basic Computer skills


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills


• Must have great organizational skills.


• Prior parts and warehouse experience


• Ability to lift and/or move items over 50 pounds.


• Ability to be very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day.


• Excellent time management skills



• Ability to work independently as well as a team-oriented environment.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent


• 1-2 years shipping and receiving experience.



• 1-2 years’ experience in a warehouse environment

Details:

• Hours: 7 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. EST


• Overtime as Needed


• Monday through Friday


• Pay: $22-28


• Full Time, Non-Exempt



• Eligible for Benefits on the first of the following month after 60 days of employment
