Bridgestone seeks energetic and motivated Production Teammates to join our manufacturing team in Bloomington, Illinois. As a Manufacturing Production Teammate, you will focus on setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting manufacturing production equipment. The ideal candidate enjoys troubleshooting and problem solving.
Your shift pattern will most likely start out on Night Shift (7pm-7am) but can change as you get experience and seniority*
Schedule:
Full-time, 12-hour shifts with every other weekend off.
Work only half of the calendar month (2 days on, 3 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off).
Day shift or Night Shift (7-7) but must be able to work either day or nights.
Pay:
Up to $3000 SIGN ON BONUS
After 9/01/2022, the starting rate is $22.00 per hour with an additional $1.00 per hour on night shift
Opportunities to earn $31.82 per hour within 3 years.
4 hours of guaranteed overtime at 1.5x every other week
Additional overtime opportunities at 1.5x

Job Responsibilities:
A focus on Safety First, Always!
Operating machine tools, chemical processing, assembly, or packaging equipment to manufacture products according to production specifications, schedules, volume/cost/waste targets, and quality standards
Moving, packing, and sorting raw materials or finished goods
Monitoring the quality of output to identify, discard, or re-manufacture faulty products
Maintaining accurate daily production records as input to manufacturing performance analysis
Other duties as assigned

Typically requires a high school degree; or 1-2 year vocational training / associates degree
