What are the responsibilities and job description for the Auto Body Estimator/Customer Service Representative position at Bridgewater Collision Repair?
Growing shop seeking an Auto Body Estimator to join our team at our Clinton location! You will oversee the activities of a team of technicians. This job requires interaction with insurance companies, body shop employees and customers.
Responsibilities:
- Write solid, correct and complete estimates that meet insurance, customer, and OEM standards
- Oversee repairs all the way through from writing estimates in accordance with OEM procedures, supervising repairs, and delivering the highest level of customer service.
- Help coordinate the daily activities of the team
- Delegate repair assignments to appropriate teams and personnel
- Excellent quality control on repairs and deliver completed repairs to satisfied customers
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
- Ability to research and follow OEM procedures and guidelines
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years collision repair estimating experience
- Strong customer service experience is a requirement
- Proficiency using estimating and management systems, CCC One, Mitchell etc.
- Prior knowledge and experience with good automotive repair SOPs and enforce them to coordinate a seamless and effective workflow in shop
- Needs to be a quick learner, highly motivated, focused & career-minded individual
- Strong leadership qualities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent work attendance
- Superb people management skills
- Must be able to transition shop to adhere to new automotive repair technology and insurance/estimating and management systems
- OEM/I-Car certification a plus
