Program Admin III - Logistics
Job Overview
FSY is a global youth program under the ownership of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, engaging over 200,000 youth worldwide. In partnership with this initiative, BYU is contracted to manage FSY conferences in the US and Canada, overseeing more than 285 conferences with an attendance exceeding 120,000 youth.
This position within the FSY Department plays a pivotal role in supporting FSY conferences by overseeing seasonal FSY Wellness Coordinators. Key responsibilities encompass the recruitment, training, and supervision of seasonal FSY Wellness Coordinators, as well as collaboration with BYU and Church Risk Management teams. Additionally, the role involves filing online incident reports and workers' compensation reports. Furthermore, the position is tasked with maintaining excellent relations with various university and church entities.
The role may also extend to leadership and contribution to departmental committees, active participation in the hiring process for seasonal core leadership employees (young adults), supervision of designated seasonal staff, evaluation of both programs and personnel, and fulfillment of other support duties as assigned.

What You'll Do In This Position
- Interview, hire, train, and supervise Wellness Coordinators to work at FSY sessions throughout the U.S. and Canada.
- File online incident reports, Workers' Compensation reports.
- Oversee Wellness Coordinator Training, as well as Policies and Protocols for FSY Staff Handbook, including:
- All Wellness Coordinator Training sections
- Emergency Procedures
- Guidelines for youth with medical, dietary, or behavioral Needs
- Common questions about participant and staff health concerns
- Lead department evaluation and planning efforts for different program and department processes and activities as assigned by the department director in different processes or program areas.
- Assess program needs and structure solutions to meet those needs in assigned areas of responsibility.
What qualifies you for this role:
- A firm commitment to the mission of BYU.
- Bachelor's degree plus two years related work experience or five years related work experience.
- Previous experience in the field of health care and risk management.
- Previous experience in large scale hiring of seasonal employees.
- Previous experience managing and evaluating remote staff.
