As a Secretary/Receptionist at our Optometric Office, you will be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment. You will manage front desk operations, support office staff, and facilitate smooth administrative workflows to enhance patient care and office efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and handle patient inquiries efficiently.
- Maintain patient records and ensure all necessary documentation is complete and up-to-date.
- Perform general administrative tasks, including filing, scanning, and managing correspondence.
- Provide information to patients regarding procedures, eye health, and treatment options as directed by the optometrist.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Customer service-oriented with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
