Full -Time (8a-5p)
Pay Rate: $15.00-$19.00/hourly
Job Summary: Bright Side Opportunities Center is seeking a friendly and professional individual to join our team as a Front Desk Receptionist. This full-time position is from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. The ideal candidate will be customer service oriented, tech-savvy, and able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Visitor Services: Greet and direct visitors to appropriate oƯices within the building. Ensure that all visitors feel welcomed while maintaining a safe environment for yourself and others. Customer Service & Communication: Greet and direct all patrons entering the building, ensuring they are guided to the appropriate area. Answer phones, direct calls, and take messages for co-workers in urgent matters. Direct church-related questions to the church administrator. Lobby Maintenance: Keep the lobby area clean and organized. Manage the goodie table by organizing donated items, placing refrigerated items in the cooler, and ensuring items are neatly arranged. Break down boxes and dispose of them. Keep the front desk area clean and clutter-free. General Knowledge & Assistance: Have a solid understanding of the building's operations and be ready to assist with any general inquiries. Be aware of events and schedules for the center and the church. Be aware of the location of items like coolers and other building supplies. Fee Collection: Collect fees from open gym, pickleball and rentals when needed. Complete money log accurately. Log Keeping: Have contractors sign in and relay information to the appropriate person regarding contractor visit. Maintain community service logs up to date and have community service workers complete task. Communicate hours with community service worker agency (DJ /PO/Schools/Programs). Technology Skills: Utilize basic tech tools for communication and office tasks. Projects may be assigned to support administrative staff. Qualifications: Proven experience in a customer service role Tech-savvy with basic knowledge of office tools Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in English and Spanish (preferred) Ability to work independently and maintain professionalism at all times If you're a responsible and friendly individual looking to make an impact at a community-focused organization, we encourage you to apply!
