Role Summary
We are seeking a Social Media Communications Specialist to manage and develop content across various social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and TikTok. This role requires a creative, detail-oriented, and highly motivated individual with a passion for social media and digital engagement.
The Social Media Communications Specialist will play a key role in content creation, community engagement, and platform management while ensuring brand consistency and adherence to business standards. This position involves close collaboration with marketing teams, legal teams, and external partners to enhance social media strategies and drive audience engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day management and publishing of social media content across multiple platforms
- Develop and maintain an editorial calendar to ensure consistent and strategic content distribution
- Identify, secure, and repurpose user-generated content and brand-aligned stories from online communities
- Monitor social media trends and incorporate culturally relevant topics to increase audience engagement
- Analyze social media performance metrics, track data insights, and optimize content based on results
- Work with production teams to develop and integrate social media content opportunities into larger campaigns
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure alignment of social media strategies with overall marketing initiatives
- Ensure all social media content adheres to business guidelines, legal standards, and brand voice
- Create campaign overview decks and present social media plans to key stakeholders
- Explore and recommend emerging social media trends, platforms, and content strategies to enhance brand presence
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 3 years in Social Media, Brand Marketing, or Digital Marketing
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Marketing, or a related field
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal, written, and grammatical skills with a positive and engaging tone
- Organization & Project Management: Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and manage social media projects from concept to execution
- Analytical Thinking: Experience interpreting social media insights to refine content strategies
- Collaboration: Comfortable working cross-functionally and coordinating with multiple teams to achieve common goals
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with social media management tools, analytics platforms, and digital customer engagement systems
- Content Creation: Experience developing social media graphics, creative assets, and engaging copy is a plus
Additional Information
- Occasional off-hours or weekend social media management may be required
- Domestic travel may be required (10-15%)
Salary : $75,000 - $80,000
