Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and results-driven Sales Representative to drive sales and promote our premium cannabis products. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the cannabis industry, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in sales. This role offers a high commission structure, providing significant earning potential for top performers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Build and maintain relationships with dispensaries, caregivers, and other partners.
- Educate patients on our product lines, including features, benefits, and routes of administration.
- Identify new market opportunities and expand our vendor network.
- Attend industry events and trade shows to represent the company and network with potential clients.
- Provide regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback.
- Stay informed about the latest trends and regulations in the cannabis industry in Maine and nationwide.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the cannabis or a related industry
- Strong knowledge of cannabis products, strains, and the legal landscape in Maine. This is an absolute requirement for success in this position
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.
- Ability to travel within Maine to meet clients and attend events.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Vehicle reimbursement provided.
Compensation:
- Base Salary - $30k
- Draw, plus Commission.
- Commission - Industry leading, details during first interview
- Expected year 1 Salary plus commission - $75,000
Schedule:
- This position is typically a Monday - Friday position, there will be some evening and weekend events that will be required.
