Key Responsibilities
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Analyze, update, and maintain accurate balance sheet entries in QuickBooks Online and assist in transitioning to a new cloud-based accounting platform.
- Offer insights and recommendations for selecting a new cloud-based accounting system and support the transition process.
- Collaborate with CPA to manage quarterly tax filings and year-end W2 preparation.
- Identify and implement opportunities to optimize accounting workflows.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of general ledger (GL) accounting experience, with a strong understanding of financial principles and reporting.
- Proficient in QuickBooks Online and adaptable to new accounting software. Experience with cloud-based platforms is a plus.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- A proactive mindset with a knack for finding solutions and streamlining processes.
- Comfortable working in a small team environment and communicating effectively with stakeholders.
