Job Summary
The successful candidate will be a responsible, self-motivated candidate with previous property management experience; preferred knowledge of HUD Section 8 or Tax Credit operations. The candidate must be familiar with daily leasing, community management, marketing and routine leasing office tasks. Computer skills are a must with experience in Yardi software or comparable housing software, a plus. Must be motivated to collect and maintain rent collections and delinquencies; highly effective oral and written communications; self-accountability for organization and time sensitive material; and professional attitude to sustain the objectives to promote viability of the community and resident relations.
Duties
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the residential property, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all residents.
- Manage tenant relations by addressing concerns, resolving issues, and fostering a positive community atmosphere.
- Coordinate property leasing activities, including marketing available units and conducting tours for prospective tenants.
- Maintain accurate records of lease agreements, tenant information, and property maintenance requests using property management software such as Yardi.
- Ensure compliance with local housing regulations and policies.
- Handle administrative tasks related to contracts and legal documentation associated with property management.
- Provide exceptional customer service through effective phone etiquette and communication skills when interacting with residents and vendors.
- Collaborate with maintenance staff to ensure timely responses to maintenance requests and upkeep of the property.
Experience
Candidates should possess a background in property management or related fields with experience in the following areas:
- Administrative tasks related to legal documentation and contract management.
- Proficiency in using property management software such as Yardi is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse populations.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
