We are seeking a Water Resources Engineer to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work on impactful projects that improve critical infrastructure and enhance community sustainability. We welcome candidates at all experience levels, from recent college graduates to seasoned professionals with 10 years of experience.


Job Responsibilities:

Depending on experience, responsibilities may include:

  • Design and analysis of municipal wastewater treatment plants, including process selection, hydraulic design, and equipment specification.
  • Prepare engineering reports and studies related to water and wastewater systems, including treatment plant evaluations, capacity analyses, and compliance reviews.
  • Develop Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs) and associated drainage system designs to comply with environmental regulations for private site development projects.
  • Conduct hydraulic modeling for water distribution, wastewater collection, and stormwater systems to evaluate system performance and optimize designs.
  • Prepare permitting documents and coordinate with regulatory agencies to ensure project compliance.
  • Support or manage construction administration tasks, including submittal reviews, responding to RFIs, and performing field inspections.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or a related engineering field (required).
  • EIT certification or recent graduate eligible to sit for the FE exam (preferred for entry-level candidates).
  • PE license or the ability to obtain licensure (required for experienced candidates).
  • Knowledge of wastewater treatment processes, stormwater management, hydraulic systems, and environmental regulations.
  • Experience or familiarity with engineering design software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, HydroCAD. Experience with GIS and/or Biowin would be of additional value.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce technical reports and presentations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Salary : $65,000 - $110,000
