This is a full-time on-site position for a Water Resources Engineer at Rennia Engineering Design. The successful candidate will manage water resource projects, analyze stormwater systems, evaluate water quality, conduct hydrological studies, implement stormwater management strategies, and oversee construction.Key Responsibilities
- Manage water resource projects from conception to completion
- Analyze and design stormwater systems to ensure optimal performance
- Evaluate and improve water quality through data analysis and research
- Conduct hydrological studies to inform project design and decision-making
- Develop and implement effective stormwater management strategies
- Oversight of construction activities to ensure compliance with project requirements
- Participate in small Dam design and permitting projects
Requirements
- Proven skills in water resource management and hydrology
- Expertise in stormwater management and understanding of water quality principles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to communicate complex ideas effectively
- Proficiency in software applications including HydroCAD, HEC-RAS, AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Word, and Excel
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field
