Job Summary:
Provide support to program managers with data entry, data tracking and general office support. Also, to fill in as needed in any classroom or bus run and to help keep a safe environment for playing and learning for young children both in the Family Resource Center and on the bus.
Provide clerical Support and supportive services for CDD staff
When needed, assist classroom teacher to maintain and promote a safe and healthy environment for young children in the classroom.
Maintains and promotes a safe and healthy environment for young children on the bus.
Achieves other Program functions
By
- Understanding and following all BBNA & Head Start Policies and Procedures.
- Establishes effective relationships with children, parents, members of the community and staff of the Head Start program.
By
- Helping to make parents feel welcome and part of the overall program.
- Identifying and reporting child abuse and neglect in accordance with CDD procedure.
Keeps Management Informed
By
- Participating in staff meetings as requested.
- Submitting assigned paperwork according to timelines.
Protects program integrity and client privacy
- Keeping any and all program information gained through employment at BBNA absolutely confidential during and after this employment.
Demonstrates a commitment to lifelong learning
- Participating in Head Start child development training, attending relevant, approved workshops, and enrolling in Early Childhood Education classes.
