Position Overview: We are looking for a versatile team player to fill the role of Administrative Assistant & Purchasing Agent. This position will be responsible for a variety of tasks including but not limited to purchasing agent duties, material ordering, office reception, and general administrative support. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
 
Responsibilities Include:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all purchasing-related inquiries and transactions.
  • Research and negotiate with vendors to obtain the best possible pricing and terms for materials and supplies.
  • Place orders for materials and supplies in a timely manner to ensure timely delivery and project completion.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, inventory levels, and vendor information.
  • Assist with office reception duties including answering phones, greeting visitors, and directing inquiries to the appropriate person or department.
  • Provide general administrative support such as filing, data entry, and scheduling appointments as needed.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operation of the office and timely completion of projects.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Preferably experienced in purchasing, material ordering, or administrative support roles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Effective task prioritization and time management abilities.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with a strong focus on accurate data entry and record-keeping.
  • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to perform well under pressure.
  • Demonstrated commitment to delivering high-quality work.
