HN273 - Full-Time Nanny/Family Assistant - Dobbs Ferry, NY

Overview

A family in Dobbs Ferry, NY is seeking a full-time live-out nanny/family assistant for their 8-year-old son. The schedule is Monday through Friday 11am-7pm, but might need some flexibility at times. They can also be flexible on start time but not at end time of 7pm. The job starts as soon as a great fit is found, they can be flexible to wait for the perfect fit. There is no travel for this role. There are no pets in the home. 

Responsibilities

• Picking up the child from school usually around 4pm
• Taking the child to after-school activities almost everyday; the family will provide a car to use
• Helping the child with homework and guiding him through his education journey, someone with a love of learning or a background in education would be ideal for what they are seeking
• Tidying the home, but no heavy housekeeping required, while child is at school
• Grocery shopping while child is at school
• Running errands as needed (I.E., picking up the dry cleaning) while child is at school

Qualifications

• The ability to speak Spanish is a plus
• An education background a plus; a nanny who can help instill the love of learning in the child's life

Requirements

• A nanny who is fun, bubbly, and a joy to be around
• Licensed driver with a clean driving record
• Non-smoker
• Dependability is very important to the family
• A swimmer

Salary and Benefits

• Guaranteed pay $38/hour
• The family will consider a health insurance stipend for the right fit
