Overview
A generous, kind family in Brooklyn is seeking a full-time, live-out nanny for their 2 children (aged 3 and 5 years-old) starting any time between now and September, depending on the ideal candidate's availability. The schedule will be 7am-6pm Monday through Friday. There is no need for overnights or weekends, since the family already have a live-in nanny who stays over 7 nights per week. Both children will be in school from 9am-3pm daily from September.
Responsibilities
- The candidate will be working alongside the family’s other nanny, who works Monday through Friday every week.
- Responsibilities will pertain to the care and well-being of the children first and foremost, including school drop-off/pick-up, assisting with the morning and evening routine, managing the children’s laundry (in tandem with the family’s housekeeper and the other nanny), assisting with food prep (though the other nanny loves to cook so this is not a deal breaker), proxy parenting when both parents are traveling, keeping the children’s living areas tidy, and more.
Qualifications
- The ideal candidate will be warm, friendly, flexible, and a team-player.
- Candidates must be able to travel with the family internationally a few times per year, and will always be provided their own private bedroom.
- Spanish language skills are a huge plus.
Requirements
- US passport, Green Card or EAC
- Candidates must have a clean driving record and current driving license, and be comfortable driving in the City - candidates without this will not be considered
Salary and Benefits
- $110k-$120k (converted to an hourly rate applicable overtime) a Healthcare Reimbursement Plan.
