Your Role as a Swim Instructor:
Lead engaging swim lessons for individuals and groups, adapting your instruction to accommodate diverse skill levels. Teach students about water safety, swimming techniques, and personal responsibility in aquatic environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct swimming lessons in line with British Swim School standards.
- Monitor students' progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Ensure the safety of all participants by enforcing pool rules and guidelines.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the swim area.
- Build rapport with our school families by being cross-trained for DA and Site Support
What We’re Looking For:
Enthusiastic and Outgoing Personality: A passion for teaching and having fun are a must!
Reliable and Authentic Character: Proven track record demonstrating these traits and qualities.
Experience with Children: Previous experience in educational or recreational settings is preferred but not required.
Strong Communication Skills: Ability to effectively engage with students, families and team members of varying ages.
Requirements:
- Have a love of the water and can swim confidently; you must pass a basic swim test and complete our training program to teach.
- Commit to missing no more than one class every 6 weeks (80-90% attendance) for each day you work
- Certifications: CPR/First Aid certification is required 90 days after hire and you must maintain all required certifications throughout your employment.
- Ability to consistently work at our multiple pool locations: Lafayette, Boulder, Westminster and Arvada
Schedule:
- This position is a great opportunity for those who are interested in year round, part time work. Your schedule will be created based on your availability and our set lesson times.
