Job Summary
The inventory associate will assist in all areas of the inventory/warehouse department. On most days multiple action items occur simultaneously and this employee will work with other team members to ensure that all tasks are completed successfully daily. This team member will help with additional inventory counts, backup for sales orders fulfillment and product receiving/put away/ warehouse organization.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Fulfillment of replenishment orders for ALL BRITTO Central and BRITTO World Locations
- The ability to use ERP system to process sales orders, transfer items and locate inventory
- May assist with inventory counts
- MS Excel and Word usage
- Backup fulfillment for sales orders
- Assist with receiving of inventory from external locations
- Quality control and put away of inventory
- Assist with quality control and receiving of product shipments
- End of day cleanup and vacuuming (rotates between team members)
- Keeps assigned zone and warehouse neat, clean, and free of dirt and debris at all times
- Adheres to company policies, procedures, and safety rules
- Performs other tasks as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum High School Diploma and or General Education Diploma (GED), and or equivalent
- Strong computer and technology skills.
- Inventory/warehouse management systems such as MAS, SAP, Acumatica
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to fluently speak, read and write English
- Ability to use emotional intelligence to perceive emotions in oneself and in others
- Confidence to uphold best practices within the warehouse
- Ability to work effectively independently and within a team environment in a fast-paced high volume production facility
- Ability to work well with others in a dynamic team environment
- Ability to maintain a professional and friendly demeanor under pressure and operate with a keen sense of urgency and commitment to quality
- Ability to exercise good judgment with a high degree of diplomacy, confidentiality, and discretion demanded by the needs of the Company
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Ability to stand for an extended period of time / ability to sit for an extended period of time.
- The participant is required to use close vision, color vision, depth perception, and must have the ability to adjust focus and have a keen eye for composition daily
- Move / lift up to 45 lbs. unassisted
- Able to withstand temperatures in a typical warehouse environment
- Position requires climbing of ladders for top-level selection
- Position requires operation of machinery used in picking and putting away inventory
- Requires activities involving being around moving machinery.
