What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inventory Associate position at La Familia Pawn and Jewelry?
This is the best place to start learning the pawnbroker trade because you will learn our two (2) price points (what we loan, and what we resell for), and
you’ll learn our floor layout (pawn storage and sales floor).
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Prints our Daily Default List.
- Pulls inventory forfeits from storage.
- Pulls merchandise out of pawn storage.
- Cleans merchandise thoroughly.
- Prices merchandise accurately. Research online and retail prices for accuracy and competitive pricing.
- Carries merchandise on the sales floor.
- Conducts daily and monthly audits.
- Meets with Management to get tasks to address store specific needs.
- Maintains and cleans the backroom/storage area, keeping everything in order.
- Additional responsibilities as requested or required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent Customer Service Skills
- Stable Work History
- High School Diploma/GED (preferred)
- Basic math skills
- Computer Literate
- Retail or Pawn Experience a Plus
- Able to Work a Flexible Schedule, including Weekends.
- Bilingual a Plus
- Eagerness to learn
- Dependable
