Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Accountant to join our Finance team during the busy season. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with managing accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Ensure timely and accurate processing, identifying and reporting any discrepancies or irregularities.
- Initiate and monitor pre-authorization requests to confirm fund availability, proactively addressing issues before order shipments.
- Monitor, analyze, and reconcile prepaid expenses, miscellaneous receivables, accruals, and other balance sheet accounts with financial accuracy.
- Prepare, review, and post journal entries as required, ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in payments or account balances, collaborating with internal teams and stakeholders as necessary.
- Contact customers to collect payment on delinquent accounts, maintaining professionalism and a customer-centric approach.

Qualifications
