According to the terms of the contract, the following position is being advertised:
FOOD SERVICE DEPARTMENT
12 MONTH - SCHEDULE 5
Qualifications:
•Ability to communicate in a courteous, efficient, and professional manner.
• Appropriate office skills, including experience using various computer programs
•Accuracy, and strong math and writing skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:
•Responsible for processing reports through the Virtual Gateway Program and updating the program file.
•Responsible for processing daily meal counts by school location for production purposes.
•Responsible for processing after-school program attendance and meal counts monthly.
•Responsible for processing daily cash sheets vendor invoices using CaterTrax Software.
•Responsible for processing claims for the School Lunch, After School, and Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Programs via the DESE
Security Portal.
•Responsible for processing and reporting Massachusetts State Meal Tax and revenue deposits to the Financial Services
Department.
•Liaise with the Student Data Services Department to access student enrollment information.
•Assist the Director of Food Services with School Lunch and Summer Food Service Programs DESE reporting annually.
•Responsible for maintaining and overseeing the Food Service equipment log.
•Perform payroll functions using Somroli Systems and create reports for the Director of Food Services.
•Liaise with the Payroll Office to provide and maintain weekly Payroll information.
•Order and maintain office supplies as needed.
•Performs the usual office routines and practices and other general office responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Food
Service.
