According to the terms of the contract, the following position is being advertised.
UNIFIED STUDENT SERVICES – CENTRAL ADMINISTRATION
12 MONTHS – SCHEDULE 5
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
Appropriate office skills, including the use of word processing, spreadsheet, database, email, Infinite Campus, and MUNIS.
Ability to accurately follow detailed instructions.
Ability to work collaboratively with personnel from all departments within the school district, the city, and contracted vendors.
Ability to maintain the utmost confidentiality.
Expert attention to detail coupled with and strong mathematical, writing, and analytical skills.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
1.Ensure proper competitive bidding procedures and documentation of all Specialized Transportation for eligible students (IDEA,
Section 504, Homeless, and Foster Care) consistent with district and City of Brockton procurement procedures.
2.Establish and maintain cost-share agreements for Specialized Transportation between Brockton Public Schools and other
school districts.
3.Access the MUNIS financial system to establish purchase orders and create requisitions to pay against established purchase
orders.
4.Process all invoices for Specialized Transportation ensuring accuracy relative to days of student attendance and programmatic
operation against invoice amount.
5.Ensure required contracts are executed and maintained on file for all transportation vendors for Specialized Transportation.
6.Ensure ongoing communication between the Office of Exceptional Learning and the district’s Homeless and Foster Care Liaison
relative to the need and eligibility for Specialized Transportation.
7.Ensure ongoing and consistent communication and reconciliation with the Finance Office for all Specialized Transportation to
ensure accurate projections and bookkeeping.
8.Ensure ongoing and consistent communication with the Transportation Office for all specialized transportation.
9.Establish and maintain appropriate filing systems.
10.Establish and maintain accurate and up-to-date lists of students eligible for Specialized Transportation.
11.Serve as a point-of-contact for issues relative to Specialized Transportation.
12.Perform other duties as assigned by the Superintendent of Schools, Assistant Superintendent of Unified Student Services, or
designee.
