Currently, we are searching for an experienced Countertop Installer in the Denver, CO area, or candidates willing to relocate to this area. Our client is a family owned business that has been providing world-class stone and flooring products along with expert fabrication and masonry services that help take construction projects to the next level for the past 25 years.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Check job work orders / shop sheets and all pieces for size, color and correct edge detail before leaving the Shop
  • Ensure all tools and supplies needed for installations are stocked on the truck.
  • Install stone per Shop Sheets and PM / Customer directions
  • Ensure the job site is thoroughly cleaned and inspected, both inside and outside, prior to leaving.
  • Able to cut pieces and do simple fabrication.
  • Complete any / all cuts, caulk, polish, etc. to ensure job completion and customer satisfaction
  • Clean, seal, cover finished installations
  • Follow Field Safety Processes and Procedures
  • Follow all onsite Safety / traffic / parking rules
  • Complete all JWD responsibilities on time

REQUIREMENTS :

  • 5 years of stone installation experience, including 2 years in Commercial work
  • One to two years related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    • LANGUAGE SKILLS :

  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization.
  • Fluent English required.

    • MATHEMATICAL SKILLS :

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

    • REASONING ABILITY :

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

    • PHYSICAL DEMANDS :

  • Ability to perform the following physical activities on a regular basis - stooping, crouching, reaching, standing, sitting, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, handling and repetitive motions.
  • Ability to work indoors in a non-temperature-controlled environment and outdoors exposed to changing weather conditions.
  • Ability to work in an environment where the typical noise level is moderate to very loud.

    • COMPENSATION :

  • 20-$30 per hour, depending on experience
