Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Construction Office Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by managing various administrative tasks, supporting information technology functions, and overseeing office management. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and the ability to multi-task.
Responsibilities
- Manage office operations, including filing, scheduling, and maintaining office supplies.
- Oversee phone and mail systems to ensure effective communication within the office.
- Assist with setting up computers, I Pads and I phones for new associates.
- Assist with obtaining construction specific permits.
- Develop and implement efficient office procedures to enhance productivity.
- Assist Project Administrators with utility set ups, RFI's, ordering supplies for Field Staff and other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Commercial construction, submittals and RFI experience is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft, Teams, and a background in Procore is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Operates with a sense of urgency and a focus on quality.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction administration or a related field is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of project scheduling techniques and tools such as Primavera.
- Familiarity with construction management software (e.g., ProCore, Prolog) is highly desirable.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for collaboration with various stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- A background in construction management or related disciplines is a plus but not mandatory.
