Senior IT Project Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking an IT Project Manager for our Fortune 50 Entertainment and Media client, to support one of its brands and subsequent digital transformation initiatives. This role requires a seasoned project manager who excels in driving execution, managing vendors, and overseeing a diverse range of digital and operational projects.
The first 3-4 months will focus on a rapidly growing our client's business, requiring the implementation of various digital platforms, integrations, and operational systems. This includes mobile/web applications, financial and membership platforms, food & beverage technologies, and visitor access management solutions. After this phase, the role will transition into overseeing website migration projects, ensuring legacy websites are modernized and migrated to updated technology stacks.

Key Responsibilities:
Program & Project Management:
- Define and manage project scope, timelines, and deliverables while ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives.
- Lead multiple concurrent workstreams covering mobile/web applications, financial platforms, membership and guest access tools, and digital commerce integrations.
- Develop and manage detailed program roadmaps, ensuring dependencies, risks, and resources are clearly identified and addressed.
- Monitor program performance, KPIs, and budget to ensure successful delivery while continuously optimizing processes.
- Lead Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) to maintain team alignment and velocity.
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and stakeholders, translating business needs into actionable technical solutions.
- Provide post-implementation support, ensuring knowledge transfer, system stability, and user adoption.
- Identify and implement innovative solutions to enhance platform usability, security, and performance.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management:
- Oversee four vendors, ensuring seamless execution of project deliverables.
- Act as the primary liaison between internal teams, leadership, and external vendors.
- Provide data-driven insights and actionable recommendations to executives.
- Maintain clear, continuous communication with leadership, finance, and business stakeholders.
Program Risk & Stakeholder Management:
- Identify program risks, dependencies, and critical issues, implementing mitigation
- Maintain consistent communication with executive sponsors and program stakeholders to ensure alignment on priorities and goals.
Minimum Qualifications:
Project Management Experience:
- 7 years of technical project management experience, working with technical teams delivering enterprise-class solutions.
- Experience managing multiple vendors and complex technology initiatives in a matrixed enterprise environment.
- Proven ability to execute large-scale projects spanning multiple business functions.
Technical Knowledge & Methodologies:
- Strong understanding of Agile, Kanban, Lean, and Waterfall methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with project management tools (JIRA, Confluence, etc.).
- Experience managing projects in these areas: enterprise financial systems, mobile/web application development, and digital commerce integrations.
- Ability to translate business objectives into actionable project plans.
Industry Experience (Nice to Have, but Not Required):
- Background in hospitality, entertainment, retail, or technology-driven guest experiences.
- Experience managing projects related to financial platforms, food & beverage systems, or membership/subscription-based services.
Soft Skills:
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Ability to ramp up quickly
