Overview
We are seeking a dedicated, knowledgeable, and organized Human Resources Specialist to join our team. This role is essential in supporting our HR functions, including talent acquisition, workforce management, and compliance with labor laws. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of human capital management and be adept at utilizing HR software systems to enhance our processes.
Duties
- Ensure compliance with labor laws to maintain a safe working environment.
- Utilize HR software such as AngelTrack for effective human resource management.
- Conduct training sessions on HR policies and procedures for staff members.
- Maintain current HR files (hard and soft copies) and databases : updating and maintaining employee benefits, employment status, performance reviews, disciplinary actions, and file audits.
- Coordinate new hire orientations and job fairs.
- Verify I-9 documentation as well as required certification & licenses.
- Ensure prompt resolution of questions and requests.
- Prepare, edit and print reports for Human Resources.
Experience
- Proven experience in human resources or related field is required.
- Familiarity with current labor laws.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 per week
