We are a growing local company with global reach. We are a CBP Customs Brokerage House, International Logistics, Domestic Logistics and 3PL Warehouse company with an office in Portland. Our experienced team assists moving freight across oceans and delivering to all points in the US and abroad. Our team all share a positive attitude, problem-solving abilities, patience and excellent communication skills.
We are looking to formalize and grow our domestic brokerage department. We are looking for someone with experience who wants to grow their own department by working with current customers and building up the customer base.

Responsibilities:
- Routing domestic freight, both ground and air freight.
- Manage and grow existing and new business relationships with clients and truckers.
- Monitor and track shipments from origin to destination and keeping the customer updated.
- Invoice all routed domestic shipments.
- Add payables to all routed domestic shipments.
- Strong emphasis on teamwork and professional/respectful communications with teammates and customers.
- Work independently and as part of the team to accomplish daily tasks.
Qualifications:
- Have 2-5 years of experience as a domestic freight broker.
- Experience working with trucking companies.
- Great written and verbal communicator.
- Intermediate computer skills - Able to use Word, Excel, Outlook, online portals, etc.
- Detail-oriented, organized and have the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities.
Salary can be adjusted depending on experience and any existing book of business.
Salary : $50,000
