- Maintain accurate inventory records for parts, tools, equipment, and supplies.
- Create purchase requisitions to replenish inventory and track shipments for quality and quantity.
- Keep supplier information up-to-date, including contact details and product pricing.
- Store and deliver supplies to their proper destinations and assist maintenance staff with recordkeeping.
- Track work orders and generate them in the software system.
- Monitor and analyze part usage, stock levels, and trends to reduce losses and improve efficiency.
- Identify root causes of cycle count errors and take action to correct them.
- Align inventory levels with maintenance schedules and consumption needs.
- Research vendors for quotes and ensure timely, accurate part deliveries.
- Maintain clear, consistent parts labeling and update data in inventory systems.
- Provide monthly inventory and trend reports to the manager.
- Perform regular cycle counts and help improve inventory accuracy.
- 3–5 years of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) experience.
- Solid knowledge of maintenance tools, parts, and inventory practices.
- Familiarity with preventive/predictive maintenance systems and analysis.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Understanding of inventory accounting principles and storeroom operations.
- Experience with manual and digital inventory systems.
- Ability to lift heavy items and maintain a clean, organized stockroom.
- Strong attention to detail, math skills, and a proactive mindset.
