Overview
BTR Contracting is rapidly expanding and is in search of a commercial project superintendent to join our growing team. This job will require previous construction and at least some level of management experience. Experience with roofing, siding, decks, and/or gutters is definitely a plus. The position will entail managing crews, running projects, and working collectively with the rest of the BTR team. Duties
- Supervise daily operations on the construction site, ensuring that work is completed safely, on time, and within budget.
- Manage subcontractors and coordinate with various trades to ensure project milestones are achieved.
- Conduct regular quality control inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
- Utilize construction management software, including Procore and Bluebeam, for project tracking and documentation.
- Review project schematics and blueprints to ensure accurate implementation during the building process.
- Maintain clear communication with stakeholders, including clients, architects, and engineers, to address any issues or changes in scope.
- Implement safety protocols and ensure all team members adhere to safety regulations on-site.
- Prepare and manage project schedules, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Project Superintendent or in a similar supervisory role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of contract management and the ability to interpret contract documents effectively.
- Proficiency in using construction management software such as Procore and Bluebeam for project documentation and tracking.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills to effectively manage teams and collaborate with various stakeholders.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $72,200.00 - $78,858.00 per year
