Internal Medicine and Pediatrics office is in need of an Office Manager for
our Lancaster, Ohio office.
This full-time, salaried position will be responsible for directing,
supervising and coordinating the overall operation of our three-physician primary care medical office.
Job Duties:
Maintains an efficient office by continually assessing office operations. Proactively manages and recommends changes in office/patient workflow, policies and procedures, programs, products and services.
Recruits, hires, and trains staff of 10 as needed. Manages employer sponsored insurances and retirement plan. Completes employee performance evaluations, recommends merit increases, promotions, and disciplinary actions.
Tracks employee attendance and paid/unpaid time off requests and accruals. Completes bi-weekly payroll timecard reports and forwards to third-party administrator for paycheck processing.
Monitors daily work schedules/assignments and the need for overtime. May need to cover other employees’ work responsibilities to ensure work is completed.
Coordinates Accounts Receivable and Revenue Cycle Management with medical biller. Ensures proper patient invoicing, collections, and refunds as necessary. Oversees daily balancing and weekly bank deposits.
Coordinates Accounts Payable by ensuring all invoices are correct and forwarded to the third-party administrator by required deadlines.
Assists with certain patient visits to ensure health maintenance is followed and recommended screenings are scheduled.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Clinical experience in medical assisting or nursing required
Two or more years of medical office management preferred
General Computer/Network troubleshooting preferred
