This position is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing/ analyzing financial statements, and providing financial insights to support decision-making.

You will be responsible for
Support Junior and Intermediate staff with compilation of monthly financial package, including reviewing statements for accuracy.
Prepare year end account reconciliation and reporting in preparation of year-end review by external auditors.
Work with Line of Business owners to prepare annual budget.
Support with government filings and stay current with relevant tax legislation.
Manage cash flow forecasting for all business units.
Maintain insurance, bond summary, and follow up with renewals as required.
Participate in cross-departmental projects as a Finance subject matter expert.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement within the department and work to develop and implement process changes.
Collaborate with team and departments to develop and manage reporting
What we need from you
Bachelor’s degree in finance or related discipline.
Working towards or recently completed an accounting designation.
Minimum 3 years’ experience at an intermediate financial level, or equivalent.
Strong critical thinking skills.
Highly adaptable to changing technology.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Access, Word).
Strong interpersonal and multi-tasking skills.
Ability to work independently.
Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Must be legally eligible to work for the Company at all times.
