What are the responsibilities and job description for the Grant Assistant-Mandarin Speaking position at Buddhist Tzu Chi Education Foundation?
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Researches various types of grants available and the criteria to qualify for each.
- Maintains relationships with grantors, foundations, and other funding sources.
- Discuss available sources of funding with administrative managers.
- Compiles necessary information for the application process through collaboration with other employees, database research, and other fact-finding actions and meetings.
- Drafts and completes grant applications according to application requirements.
- Ensures grant is submitted on time and within application parameters.
- Tracking the progress and outcomes of funded projects.
- Completes all documents, forms, or reports required by the grant.
- Coordinates the monitoring and evaluation of programs and projects funded by grants.
- Develops and maintains master files on grants and paperwork connected to grant-funded programs.
- Participating in meetings, workshops, and conferences related to grants.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE:
At least 1 years experience in a similar role.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
1.Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin.
2.Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
3.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
4.Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
5.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
6.Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
7.Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
8.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
