Blind, Shade, Shutter Installer

Budget Blinds of Castle Rock is a small family owned business. We are looking for a new employee to join the family. Position is long-term and stable with room to grow in salary.
The person we are seeking needs to be responsible, hard working, and self-motivated. We'll provide plenty of training, but need someone that is handy and can solve problems.

The job of a window covering installer is to install blinds, shades, shutters or draperies in customer's homes. The installer is provided an installation van and given a schedule of installations on a given day. The installer will arrive at a customer's house, unpack the window coverings from their boxes, install the window coverings, demonstrate how the window coverings operate for the customer, and collect customer payment. The job is Monday-Friday, 8 hours/day.

Primary Duty: Responsible for timely and mistake-‐free window covering installation in a given geographic territory.

Essential Job Functions:
1. Conduct in‐home installation of company product(s) and collect payment;
2. Conduct in‐home installation repairs, as needed;
3. Provide friendly and knowledgeable service to ensure customer satisfaction;
4. Complete and submit installation paperwork on a daily basis;
5. Maintain warehouse in a neat and orderly fashion;
6. Responsible for van maintenance, including washing, restocking supplies, etc.;
7. Responsible for breaking down boxes, disposing of trash and recycling cardboard and bubble wrap;
8. Attend all staff meetings and training sessions as required;
9. Adhere and abide by all safety regulations.

Skill Requirements:
1. At least 1 year of installation/construction experience, preferably industry-‐related; Experience can include personal home projects.
2. Clean Driving record and Background investigation;
3. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills;
4. Ability to follow established procedures and meet deadlines;
5. Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently;
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
7. Ability to drive a van;
8. Manual dexterity to use small hand tools;
9. Ability to lift and carry boxes weighing up to 50lbs and ability to work on ladders and scaffolding as required;

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
