Looking for Educators to join our School Age Before and After School District Teams!
Here at Building Blocks Learning Center we believe in supporting our students by continuing education past their preschool years. As educators, we strive to create lifelong learners and build lasting relationships with each student and their families. We are seeking Teachers to join our After School Enrichment Programs partnered with local school districts.
As an Before and After School Teacher you are responsible for the safety, education, well being, supervision and comfort of each and every student in your care. We have full time and part time opportunities available and we want to hear from you!
When you join our team as an Enrichment Program Teacher you will:
- Provide a safe and structured environment that stimulates and nurtures a young student's mind
- Create weekly lesson plans using our innovative curriculum
- Build positive relationships through communication with employees, students, parents and community
- Conduct Parent/Teacher Conferences 2 times a year
REQUIREMENTS
- Associate or Bachelors degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience in the early childhood/elementary
- Two years of related experience
- Flexible scheduling Monday - Friday (between the hours of 6:30 am to 6:00 pm)
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment
- Strong classroom management skills
- Positive attitude
- Ability to obtain State Police, FBI and Child Abuse clearances
- Ability to obtain a Health Assessment with TB
