Landscaping Foreman

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Landscape Foreman to lead a landscaping team in creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for landscape design and maintenance. This role involves supervising a team of landscapers, ensuring quality workmanship, and managing various landscaping projects from start to finish.

Requirements:

• Driver License with clean driving record
• At least 2 years of experience in a landscaping role
• Have or be willing to obtain a ISA TRAQ, MCLP Certification, or MA Pesticide CORE License

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the landscaping crew to ensure efficient operations.
• Oversee landscape maintenance tasks including lawn care, garden upkeep, and tree care.
• Plan and execute landscape installations, including building features such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
• Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns.
• Train and mentor team members on best practices in landscape maintenance and safety protocols.
• Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition to ensure safety and efficiency on the job site.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their landscaping needs and provide updates on project progress.

Skills

• Working knowledge of landscape design principles, plant care, and horticulture.
• Proficient in landscape maintenance techniques including lawn care and shrub care
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and supervise a team effectively.
• Basic problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $28.03 - $31.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
