Landscape Supervisor

Duest Landscaping is a full-service landscape company in Milford, MA. We are looking for a motivated and experienced individual to join our team as our field member and move into a supervisor position. The ideal candidate will have experience in the landscape industry and be able to work independently as well as with a team. The candidate must be able to work outdoors year-round, be able to lift up to 50 lbs, and be able to work in all weather conditions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform daily maintenance of landscape facilities including but not limited to: mowing, pruning, weeding, etc.
• Maintain equipment inventory and upkeep of equipment on job sites.
• Maintain lawns by mowing, edging, trimming, mulching, etc.
• Cleaning and upkeep of trucks and trailers.
• Cleaning of yards by sweeping, raking, etc.
• Maintain inventory of tools and supplies needed for maintenance department.
• Ensure that all tools are in working condition before they are used on jobsites.
• Ensure that all tools are in working condition after the job is completed.
• Perform daily inspections of equipment on site for proper performance.
• Perform daily inspections of landscaping equipment on site for proper performance.
• Assist with installation of landscape equipment including but not limited to: irrigation systems, trees, shrubs, plants, fences, signs, etc..
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Education and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred 1-2 years related experience required Previous landscape maintenance experience preferred but not required. Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., operate power tools safely at all times while working outdoors in all weather conditions (no outdoor season), and must be able to work independently as well as with a team member. Must possess good communication skills both written and verbal; ability to communicate effectively with customers/team members both inside and outside the company; ability to follow oral instructions given by supervisors; ability to follow directions from supervisors; ability to work cooperatively with other employees; ability to work overtime as required; ability to perform all duties with minimal supervision while maintaining a high level of accuracy; and must possess the ability to read and understand English sufficiently enough so that you can communicate effectively with customers/team members both written instructions and verbal conversations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $26.85 per hour

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Morning shift
• No nights
• Weekends as needed
