Bulldogs Sports Properties (BSP) is Learfield’s local, dedicated entity representing Fresno State. In complete collaboration with the university, this team is committed to extending the affinity of the Bulldog brand to businesses and corporations of all sizes looking to align with the undeniably loyal and passionate collegiate sports fan base.
As exclusive multimedia rights holder for Fresno State, BSP manages all aspects of the rights relationship. Providing corporate partners with traditional, digital, and other non-traditional media opportunities to bolster their own brand and garner maximum exposure through inventory such as venue signage; digital engagement including social media, the official athletics website, content, digital gaming and retargeting, event sponsorships and promotion; corporate hospitality; television and radio game broadcasts and coaches’ shows.
Property Assistant Role
This role is geared towards creating a first-class experience for the 2025 Fresno State Football season. BSP is actively seeking Property Assistants to work on-site at select events in Fresno, CA. Our Property Assistants are essential to our properties’ success. We are looking for well-organized Property Assistants to provide the necessary support to the BSP and Fresno State Athletics team. The goal is to execute partnership elements of game day setup/teardown, hospitality management and fan interaction to ensure an enjoyable Game Day experience for partners and fans. Property assistants’ hours will range from pregame prep & setup through the takedown & removal of temporary elements before, during & after games. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment, we want to meet you! This a great opportunity to get into the sports world in an entry-level capacity in a part-time, paid role.
Responsibilities:
· During games, assist with game-day and event operations and management, including set up/teardown of select in-venue signage, hospitality tailgates/events/suites, and pregame fan fest vendor booths.
· Fulfillment of on and off-field promotions for corporate sponsors (displays, promotional handouts, contests, etc.)
· Interaction with Fresno Fanbase in a welcoming way that creates a family friendly and fun sporting environment.
· Communication with various departments of Fresno State Athletics and promotions personnel as well as BSP sales staff
· Handle other miscellaneous projects as needed.
Qualifications:
· High level of initiative, coupled with the ability to work independently.
· Strong verbal communication skills
· Ability and willingness to initiate and maintain personal relationships.
· Highly organized; able to prioritize and execute tasks.
· Focus on attention to detail, quality over quantity.
· Ability to maintain a positive, upbeat attitude under pressure.
· Ability to work flexible hours, including all home football games.
· Strong time management and work focused skills.
· Ability to lift upwards of 50 pounds
This is a great role for current college students pursuing a degree in Sports Sales, Management, Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Facility Management, or another related field. Internship credit can be applied, please connect with your internship coordinator on necessary protocol steps.
