PowerSchool Data Manager
Position Title : Data Manager
Reports To : Principal
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Required :
- Knowledge of computers, networking, and office practices.
- High level of accuracy in data entry and management.
- Administrative skills to interpret county and state policies governing enrollment / withdrawal, attendance, immunizations, and health records.
- Communication skills to communicate with school personnel, students, parents, and outside agencies.
- Ability to perform common arithmetical functions.
- Software / word processing skills for data entry, reporting, word processing, desktop publishing, spreadsheets, other PowerSchool programs.
- Uses discretion to structure tasks to meet expectations and prioritizes to meet deadlines.
- Keeps information confidential.
- Needs limited supervision and can work independently and as a part of the team.
- Able to make decisions and solve problems with school data and information provided.
Education, Training Required : High School diploma and a minimum of two years of experience with computer processing and data entry preferred. Associates Degree from a two-year college or technical school preferred.
Term of Employment : 8 hours per day for 11 months at schools with grades K-5 or
8 hours per day for 12 months for schools with grades 6-12.
