What are the responsibilities and job description for the Child Care Team Lead position at Burn Boot Camp?
Burn Boot Camp Wausau is looking for a caring and compassionate Child Care Team Lead who has experience caring for children ages eight weeks to twelve years old. We are committed to providing top quality care and a welcoming environment that reflects the Burn commitment to community. Our goal is to enhance the lives of every child that attends our facility and ensure a safe, engaging, and clean environment.
Duties:
- Assist with hiring new childwatch team members
- Set training schedule and train new childwatch team members
- Complete monthly schedule by the 15th of the month for the following month
- Plan and execute weekly and monthly Childwatch themes
- Develop and post the theme/craft of the week every Monday to the Facebook family page.
- Communicate with and lead other Childwatch team members regarding cleaning, child expectations, theme weeks and crafts.
- Manage lost and found, by posting to the Facebook family page.
- Manage supply orders with Operations Manager so as to maintain sufficient inventory at all times.
- Organize storage/supply room to maintain order.
- Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous experience in childcare, babysitting, or related field
- Knowledge of childhood development stages and appropriate caregiving techniques
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid required
- Experience working with children in a daycare or a preschool setting is a plus
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Associates Degree, Bachelors Degree, or equivalent education required. Additional certifications in early childhood education are desirable.

Salary: $15-$16 per hour
Available Schedule:
- AM Shifts (8:15am-12:00pm)
- PM Shifts (4:15pm-7:30pm)
- Rotating Saturday Mornings (7:45am-12:00pm)
Education:
- Associates Degree, Bachelors Degree, or equivalent education required (Required)
- Must be 18 to work with children in a child care facility
Experience:
- Childcare: 1 year (Preferred)
- Childcare Leadership: 1 year (Preferred)
- CPR Certified (Preferred)
