Reporting to the General Sales Manager, the Sales Manager provides leadership to a team of Sales and Business Development staff. They will support the Sales and Business Development teams to ensure customers have a seamless experience throughout the sale, financing, and delivery of their vehicles. As the primary desking manager, this position will maximize profitability, ensuring accurate and efficient vehicle pricing, deal structuring, and sales documentation. This position will be responsible for financing up to 30% of all deals and managing internet sales performance.

The successful candidate for this role will have a deep understanding of automotive finance and desking processes, exceptional attention to detail, and strong leadership skills. In addition to submitting credit applications to RouteOne and banks for financing, they will also utilize software to underwrite Buy-Here Pay-Here loans. The ideal candidate for this position will be passionate about developing their team and building lasting and meaningful customer relationships. This salaried, full-time position is located in Gaffney, South Carolina.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years management experience in automotive desking or finance required.
• Commitment to providing an exceptional customer experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong work ethic with the ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong computer skills, with proven ability to learn new systems and applications.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Demonstrated ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• A valid driver’s license.
• A clean driving record with no more than two moving violations or DUI’s in the last three years.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
