Overview
We are seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our team at a hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and medication administration, with experience in critical care and pharmacy operations.
Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications
- Maintain pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level
- Process medication orders and prescriptions
- Prepare IV infusions and operate infusion devices
- Utilize aseptic techniques to prepare medications for patients
- Provide excellent patient service and support
Qualifications
- Certification as a Pharmacy Technician
- Experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred
- Proficiency in medication administration and inhaled medications
- Knowledge of IV infusion procedures
- Familiarity with aseptic techniques
- Strong commitment to patient care and service
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $32.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
