What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Assistant/Receptionist position at Buska Retirement Solutions, Inc?
Buska Retirement Solutions, Inc., is a leading financial services company with offices in Wausau and Eau Claire, that is seeking a motivated individual to join our growing, family built firm as our new Receptionist.
Duties of this position shall include efficiently performing tasks including, but not limited to:
- Responsible for welcoming clients into our office and making them feel comfortable. Ideal candidates will have an upbeat personality to help clients feel more at home as well as offering them a beverage or snack from our refreshment menu.
- Answering telephones and routing calls to the appropriate parties.
- Scanning and data entry.
- Preparing materials for events and providing assistance at company functions as needed.
- Attending client events and seminars outside of normal business hours may be required from time to time, possibly 1-2 times per quarter.
- Maintaining inventory of office supplies and placing orders to replenish supplies as needed.
- Assisting management and staff with various tasks as directed.
Our ideal candidate would be able to multitask effectively. Highly proficient working knowledge of common computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook is a must. Experience and/or knowledge of the financial/insurance industry is ideal but not necessarily required.
This position requires someone who is personable and outgoing as you would be welcoming clients into our office and helping to create a great first impression. We prefer applicants have a minimum of an associates degree and 5 years administrative/clerical/management experience however we are willing to train the right candidate as long as they possess strong knowledge in the areas previously mentioned.
Office hours are M-Th, 9am-5pm and Fri 9am-4pm (Summer hours apply from Memorial Day to Labor Day - 8am-5pm M-Th, 9am-12pm Fridays). We offer paid training, paid holidays and PTO as well as 401(k) with company match, health insurance reimbursement and AFLAC options.
Compensation estimates don't include annual bonus, only base salary. Annual bonus is based on productivity and company profitability.
