Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Child Care Teacher and assistants to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for children. This role involves working with infant, toddler or preschool-aged children, providing them with the foundational skills they need for future academic success. The Child Care Teacher will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, managing classroom dynamics, and ensuring the safety and well-being of all students.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that aligns with educational standards.
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity and exploration.
- Manage classroom behavior through effective classroom management techniques.
- Provide individualized attention to students, including those with special needs.
- Facilitate activities that promote social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child’s progress and any concerns.
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Follow center policies and attend monthly staff meetings.
- Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall educational experience.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current in early childhood education practices.
Requirements
- Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred; relevant experience may be considered. Enroll in MRTQ.
- Experience in preschool settings or infant/toddler care is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of play based methods or other educational philosophies is a plus.
- Strong skills in curriculum development and assessment practices.
- Ability to manage a classroom effectively while maintaining a positive atmosphere.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with children.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred but will train.
- Must pass a full background check..

Pay: $16.85 - $22.00 per hour
