Telemetry System Engineer Location : Orlando, FL Job ID : #70093 Pay Range : $68.40-80.48 ph (W2) Job Description Telemetry and Flight Termination System (TM / FTS) Engineer to support missile production and development. -Primary responsibility will be to provide TM / FTS supplier component technical oversight to support ongoing qualification and / or lot acceptance tests and production deliveries.
- Candidate will be responsible for communicating status and issues as well as recommendations to program.
- Travel to supplier, production, and / or test locations will be required on an as needed basis. Required Experience :
- At least 4 years of prior experience working with TM / FTS systems, RCC-319 and Test Range Safety organizations.
- 4-6 years of Electronic Testing experience is required.
- 4-6 years of Mechanical Testing experience is required.
- The role includes elements of requirements, design, analysis, integration, test, reviews, and safety coordination.
- Candidate needs to be a self-starter and have the capability of determining one's own tasking based on input from program. DESIRED EXPERIENCE / SKILLS :
- The ideal candidate should have demonstrated experience to manage external suppliers with a focus on requirements verification, technical performance, and schedule.
- Excellent verbal, presentation, and written skills to all management / junior levels is desired.
- Demonstrated experience presenting at program / design reviews, technical reviews, and safety reviews is desired.
Source program is missile launched from airborne military platforms.
Active Secret Clearance required to start.
