Front of House Bakery Staff

We are expanding our hours...so we need a crew to help us support our drive to feed the community! Button Rock Bakery is a family-owned bakery located in the heart of the community. We are seeking a Front-of-House Associates to join our team and help us deliver exceptional customer service to every guest visiting our bakery. This job requires Sundays and evenings!

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers as they enter the bakery and provide friendly, attentive service throughout their visit
• Answer customer questions about our products, including ingredients, preparation methods, and availability
• Accurately process orders and payments, and handle cash and credit card transactions
• Prepare and package food and beverages, including coffee, tea, pastries, and sandwiches
• Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area, including the dining area, service counter, and retail display cases
• Restock and rotate products as needed, and communicate with the kitchen staff to ensure that inventory levels are maintained
• Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cash register reconciliation, cleaning, and securing the premises

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of experience in a customer service role, preferably in a food service or retail environment
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to help customers select amazing pastries, sandwiches, special occasion cakes, and everything in between! This job averages $19-$24, with a tip and benefit package available after 90 days. We are looking to hire 3-4 employees ASAP! Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
