What You'll Be Doing
- Oversee the Receiving area, schedule and manage incoming shipments and flow of product between warehouses to ensure the department is operating at maximum efficiency.
- Conduct daily morning huddles with direct reports at the start of the shift.
- Analyze incoming shipments in computer software systems from purchasing to scheduled trucks and determine the daily volume.
- Review daily received shipments; delegate returned items to be processed and establish deadlines for Warehouse Associates.
- Prepare and review weekly employee productivity reports.
- Resolve and follow up on process errors and inventory discrepancies reported by Team Leads
- Perform audit of inter-company (BW locations) transfers and Amazon freight charges
- Operate and ensure proper use of all equipment, including, but not limited to handheld inventory control devices, computerized equipment, forklifts, and pallet jacks in accordance with safety regulations, and provide training for associates as back-up for Team Leads
- Communicate with Warehouse Manager to request supply & maintenance/repair needs as necessary.
- Perform warehouse opening and closing procedures when necessary and/or as back-up for Team Leads.
- Complete regular 1:1 meeting with direct reports, including coaching, motivation, discussing expectations, disciplining, etc.

What We'll Need from You
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of two years previous experience working in a Team Lead or Supervisor role in a warehouse environment.
- Forklift certified or willing to become certified within 60 days of start date.
- Excellent written and oral comprehension - ability to read and understand information presented in writing and/or spoken through words or sentences.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; Regular standing, walking, sitting, handling, bending, and reaching is required.
- Excellent attention to detail and thoroughness in completing work tasks.
- Attendance & Punctuality – consistently at work and on time; Ensures work responsibilities are covered when absent.
When and Where You'll Be Working
- Day shift - availability to work varied scheduled shifts within the hours of 7:00am to 5:00pm.
