About the Role
We are looking for a Desktop Support Technician who can instruct customers in equipment operation, provide technical assistance, and check equipment remotely for malfunctions. The successful candidate will perform various maintenance and technical support tasks on products such as equipment, integrated systems and subsystems, and software over the phone.
Key Responsibilities
- Instruct customers in equipment operation and provide technical assistance via phone or remote access.
- Perform routine system maintenance and analysis functions, including hardware configurations and adding, removing, and replacing equipment components.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions to eliminate problems in minimum time.
- Install, upgrade, and remove products ensuring coordinative engineering field change.
- Complete system programming and optimization as part of the installation process.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have a current DISA IAT level II baseline certification (CompTIA Security CE or equivalent) and at least 3-4 years of experience. A High School diploma plus advanced training is also required.
