Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Press Brake Operator to join our team. This role is crucial to ensuring the efficient operation of our production lines, maintaining quality standards, and producing products within established specifications. As a Press Brake Operator, you will be responsible for operating machinery, ensuring product quality, and maintaining a safe and productive work environment. 4yrs experience minimum.
Essential Functions:
- Product Monitoring & Quality Control:
Continuously monitor the appearance of products, ensuring they meet specifications. Take corrective actions as needed to maintain quality standards.
Properly document records and reports in accordance with work instructions.
- Flexible Workstation Operations:
May be required to work at different workstations depending on production needs.
- Machine Operation & Maintenance:
Operate and maintain press brake equipment efficiently. Be open to learning and operating other machinery and processes within the fabrication industry.
- Physical Demands:
This position is physically demanding and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing throughout the workday.
- Lifting & Handling:
Frequent lifting and/or moving of items over 50 pounds.
- Vision Requirements:
Must have specific vision abilities, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
4 years of brake press experience required.
- Physical Stamina:
Must be able to perform physical tasks throughout the workday, including lifting, standing, and moving heavy materials.
- Attention to Detail:
Ability to closely monitor and ensure the quality of products produced.
