Shop Manager
Key Duties
- Manages shop and 3-5 mechanics
- Manages heavy equipment needs for the Grayson yard
- Manages all heavy equipment repairs and transport operations.
- Performs in depth reviews to establish practices to reduce overall equipment expenses
- Develops, manages, and leads our Safety culture within the Shop
- Monitor and adhere to the established budgets
- Keeps inventory of all company heavy equipment assets
- Job will require travel to jobsites as required to support the field operations (50%)
Job Requirements
- 8 years’ experience as a Lead Mechanic and managing other mechanics in a shop
- Experience with service calls
- Experience with E360 and HCSS Dispatcher is a plus
- Action oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
- Willingness and ability to travel (50%)
- Computer skills (MS Word, MS Excel, etc.)
Additional Requirements:
- Must have valid driver's license
- Must participate in pre-employment and random drug screening program.
