Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Roofing/Siding Service Technician with hands-on experience in roofing, siding, flashing, skylights, and storm door service and repair. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated professional who can manage a variety of exterior renovation projects, ensure top-notch workmanship, and deliver projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Travel to customer homes each day to diagnose, service, and repair roofing, siding, flashing, skylights and storm doors
- Perform site assessments and provide accurate project estimates
- Ensure projects comply with local building codes and safety regulations
- Maintain a clean and safe job site
- Communicate regularly with homeowners to provide updates and ensure satisfaction
- Verify repairs are 100% corrected
- Collect payment and completion signature from client
- Meet estimated timeline to complete repairs on time
- Maintaining exceptionally high standards of customer contact and service overall as the primary liaison between the company and its’ clients
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in exterior home improvement and/or general contracting
- Proven experience in roofing, siding, flashing, skylights, and storm doors
- Strong knowledge of residential construction techniques and materials
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Familiarity with local building codes and safety standards
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and customer service abilities
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with insurance claims and storm restoration work
- Project management experience
- Basic carpentry and framing skills
Schedule:
Monday – Friday 7am-5pm (Saturdays rare, but workload dependent)
Pay: $23 - $26 per hour
